The documentary Conflict and Rape: Reminiscences, produced by Asmita Womens’ Publishing House, Media and Resource Organization- Nepal, presents the condition of the sufferers of rape attached to the 10- year long armed struggle by Maoists in Nepal. The documentary has mostly included the testimonies of the sufferers, in which the sufferers have painfully remembered the brutality befelling them. Their existing life is also shown in the documentary. Finally, the documentary has dealt with the question of providing justice, relief and compensation to them. The documentary aims at giving more space to the sufferers’ voice.
The visuals for the documentaries were filmed the places like Dandeldhura, Kanchanpur, Surkhet, Dang, Banke, Kapilvastu, Nawalparasi, Kathmandu, Morang, and Sunsari. The documentary is approximately 27 minutes long.
